A city of unparalleled beauty and historical depth, Istanbul is a testament to centuries of cultural fusion and architectural splendour. Located at the crossroads of East and West, Istanbul has been the cradle of many civilisations, each leaving an indelible mark on its landscape. The city's iconic Bosphorus, with its striking bridges linking two continents, is a symbol of its unique blend of cultures. Istanbul's majestic palaces, awe-inspiring mosques, captivating churches and intricate mosaics make it a treasure trove of cultural heritage.

Tour Itinerary:

1.The Hippodrome: Explore the remains of what was once the epicentre of sporting and political life in ancient Constantinople, the capital of the Eastern Roman Empire. The Hippodrome was the site of exhilarating games and significant political upheavals, including the infamous Nika riots of 532 AD during the reign of Justinian I. Although much of its grandeur has faded, three historic monuments remain: the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine.

2.The Blue Mosque: Marvel at the architectural grandeur of the Blue Mosque, built in the early 17th century. This world-renowned landmark is unique in Istanbul for its six minarets. The mosque takes its name from the 20,000 exquisite blue iznik tiles that adorn its interior. Designed by Sedefkar Mehmet Aga, a student of the famous Ottoman architect Sinan, the Blue Mosque is a perfect blend of majesty, size and harmonious design.

3.Hagia Sophia Mosque: Visit Hagia Sophia, a monumental structure with a storied past. Originally built by Emperor Constantine the Great in 325 AD, it was rebuilt twice after being destroyed by fire, and the current structure was completed by Emperor Justinian I between 532 and 537 AD. For over a millennium, Hagia Sophia was the largest building in the world, until it was surpassed by Seville Cathedral in 1520. After the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople in 1453, it was converted into a mosque and then a museum in 1935.

4.Grand Bazaar: Explore the Grand Bazaar, one of the oldest and largest covered markets in the world. Spanning 61 streets and housing over 4,000 shops, this bustling marketplace attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors daily. Recognised as one of the first shopping malls, the Grand Bazaar is a must-see destination located in the heart of Istanbul's historic Fatih district, within the ancient walled city.
